Weight Gainers

A weight gain shake is a milk shake (or water shake) made with a special powder. This powder contains lots of protein, carbohydrates, and some fat thrown in for good measure.

One of the great things about weight gain shakes is that you can mix other ingredients with it. For example, try mixing in some yogurt, or fresh fruit. You can make your shake with water or milk - it's up to you. If you find that milk fills you up too much try water. And don't worry, weight gain shakes usually come in a variety of flavors such as vanilla, chocolate etc.

It is important to remember that a weight gain shake is simply a supplement. It is used so that you can load your body up with more (good) calories than you're able to eat using normal food. You should never replace a normal diet with a weight gain shake.
